I have never seen an ipod crunched like that. Thanks for showing me something new!

Also "quitter underwear" is a new term to me! I need some solid underwear to keep my butt jiggle in when I am running :)

Ugh, I wish I had your dedication.
And I might laugh at the BL contestants if I didn't feel like I'm turning into one day by day. And of course, Abby's story makes me cry every time. Sigh.

But good job, you!
Sorry about the Nano. :(

Way to go on the WW and the C25K! So, so, SO sad about the iPod. I would be beside myself!

I'm doing the 30-Day Shred challenge at the moment, but am considering trying the C25K again. I've tried once or twice before, and always come to the same conclusion: I hate running. But you never know... this time I think I'll do it on the treadmill and see if it's any better. :-)

He he he. Your hee-larious writing style always makes me laugh.

Just catching up on some blogs. Some of my SAHM friends have a sitter that comes once / week for a 3-4 hour block of time. It is part of their weekly routine and once it becomes ingrained, perhaps you might have less guilt. Just a thought.

Also on the workout thing and colds. I quit my gym last fall because Missy was always getting sick after I took her there. Well, that and I just could not enjoy my yoga practice under bright lights and loud Beyonce tunes. (I am not knocking Beyonce. It was just really loud.) For other public places, I started using a small spray bottle called CleanWell on my hand's and Missy's. We've had okay results so far. Much safer for the wee ones than Purell.

Honestly, I never really feel guilty about grabbing alone time. Randy enjoys one on one with little lassie and I love hearing the stories (and funny mishaps) of their time together. I only get a few hours a week to myself, but I feel like I earn them. Am I in the minority?

I hate that ....... I bitch and moan because I NEVER have any alone time and when I get some I drive around aimlessly .......then I get bored and end up going home. I guess just the idea of having the time is enough ....... besides then I would have nothing to moan about!!!
It's the pits being a mommy .......with the guilt and all. I guess there will be a time when we long for them to want to hang with us though .......
I would love for you guys to come up for that Kids place ...... it's so much fun. For adults too!!!

At least you're getting out! I'm starting to feel like they're permanently attached to me. Even when hubs is supposed to be watching them while I'm doing housework (hah, you know the blue moon happened this week), I still find them lingering around my legs. But, the same way, if I'm out on errands or "me" time, I find myself rushing home because I feel guilty for not being home with the family.
Guilt, does it ever end?

I just went back to the Y after a hiatus myself and it felt so darn good.

I sent Little Lassie to the Y when she was a little under the weather, but with no obvious signs of a cold. No runny nose or hacking cough. I started doing it when I realized many other kids there had some type of mild cold and she kept getting bugs from them. If I only went to the gym when LL was 100% well, I'd never get there particularly in the winter.

As time has passed LL's colds have gotten milder and fewer. She may be building immunities. So, I say get thee to the gym, store or playground. I've heard adrenalin is a natural decongestant, so I always take LL out for walks in the fresh air when she has a cold. It seems to work well for our funky moods and phlemy throats.
